What is genesis?
genesis is a student-run literary & art magazine, which accepts submissions year-round from enrolled undergraduate and graduate IUPUI students. We value giving IUPUI students a platform to express themselves through a multitude of mediums. This includes, but is not limited to: creative nonfiction, fiction, painting, photography, poetry, screenwriting, graphic narratives, furniture, pottery, sculpture, and anything else creative!
We publish one issue per semester during the spring and fall, but the submission portal is open year-round. All judging is done anonymously. $100 "Best of" scholarships are awarded each issue for four categories: fiction & screenwriting; nonfiction; poetry; art & comics.
